3M acquires VentureShield
Back in the early Fall of 2007 3M announced it was in talks to purchase VentureTape, manufacturer of the VentureShield Paint Protection Film product. This was a non-hostile acquisition and as of October 1, 2007 VentureTape is now known as “VentureTape, a 3M company”.
At AUTO CLEAR ARMOUR we welcomed the announcement as it will reduce a certain amount of confusion in the marketplace. We're hoping that the marriage of these two giants will create a new generation of films that even surpasses their current offerings.
